There must be something in the air. I can't quite put my hoof on it, but they moved us all girls to a new ward. Some of the ladies I already know, and some I've never met before. I've heard this is a big place, with over 3,000 of us wild horses in here. Oh, it's not all bad, we get good grub and can make friends, and every other Friday is visiting day, with some more of them 2 legs coming to gawk at us. Of course we don't let them get close, though once in a while, one of them catches our fancy and we might casually stroll nearby. Some even allow themselves to get touched, and I've heard them scritches ain't so bad.
Anyways, something feels different, and I've heard through the grapevine that some of us might get to go to a new home in a week or so.
Home. Mine was a vast expanse of barren land, with short grass and low shrubs. I wonder if this one will be the same...
Well, they're calling us to the chow line so I better hustle.
