I am starting to get the feeling 2-legs really wants me to be okay carrying the strangest things on my back, but I am still not quite sure.
The latest two are tarp man and a fellow named Bob. Come to think of it, I am not sure if that's his name or his occupation. 2-legs is back!
(Don't tell her but I kinda missed the company.) She was afraid I might have forgotten everything while she was gone but I remember everything, even how to line up to the fence while she sits on my back. She also said it was a good thing I didn't go to this Horse Expo as it would have been a bit much for me. She mentioned things like dogs, strollers, dragons, tiny little horses, giant horses, whips cracking, carriages - I don't even know what half of those are, but they don't sound like proper company! Sounds like Pico, 2-legs' other mustang, has gotten quite civilized since he didn't mind any of the above and did great down there. So I decided not to go on the field trip.
Not that I don't like the white metal box - I got in it about a hundred times. I just wasn't sure about being locked in there. Busy day today!
I got some more practice with the cowboy curtain http://youtu.be/iyTFTxLrZ3E and a jump http://youtu.be/bJbv6S4sB9o And then back to the fence which isn't as scary as it used to be but still a little bit. http://youtu.be/vC0ah4a7XmM http://youtu.be/LiV7ZfLuyzk?t=16s I have gotten used to carrying a saddle but I do take offense to having something extra on it. I did work up a bit of a sweat today because the offending object (again, I am not a boat and do not need that pesky bumper) simply would not leave me alone. I tried out running it, kicking at it, all to no avail. Come to think of it, it really was not hurting me in any way, but I still resented its presence.
I finally conceded that it was tolerable on the left, but then we had another session later in the day and had to start all over with it on the right. Again, it would not budge from my side. I do not mind it so much when it is on the same side as 2-legs, but having things on both sides is no picnic. It took me a while to make peace with it. On the other hand, I am very comfortable walking in and out of the big white metal box, which 2-legs says is great since we are planning a trip soon. She says we are heading down to the big city for something called the "Horse Expo" and that I might even see some of my old pals there. I have been learning to get in the white metal box on wheels that I came in and 2-legs says I am doing great.
(I like going in there, that's where they keep the yummy food!) |
