The Journey begins
Tomorrow (February 6,) I will be picking up my mare from Canon City. This won't be my first time there, as I have visited several times, and adopted my first Mustang "Quiet Riot" from the facility. My current horse "Pico" (pictured below) is also a former Canon City inmate.
There are over 3,000 wild horses in holding at this facility alone, and some have been there for many years, so I am pleased at the chance to help another one.
My aim is to do my best with the horse I am assigned, to help her shine and go from WILD TO FAB.
She will be available for adoption at the end of the competition on May 30th.
